We built JisMatched as a fun, scrappy side project for Valentine's Day. Honestly, we just wanted to see if it would work.

700+ active users showed up, matched, and made this experiment way bigger than we imagined. Some of you actually found dates. Wild.

For the record, Rohit (me) and Akash (the creators) are still single. The irony isn't lost on us. 💀

Unfortunately, we've seen a rise in harassment and misuse. We lack the resources to moderate at scale and would rather shut down than let this space become harmful.

Thanks for making this chaotic ride worth every line of code. You turned a weekend hack into something real. ❤️

Chillax though, we might just return next Valentine's Day. 😉
